St. John Bosco Community College was founded in 1999 on the solid foundation laid down by the Salesian Sisters and Clare Vocational Educational Committee. This new College, combining the resources of the well respected Cahercon Convent and Kildysart Vocational School, will enjoy an increased curriculum, facilities and activities that have heretofore only been available by attendance at on e or other school.

At St. John Bosco Community College, we have an upper limit on student places of 325 pupils. This will afford students a high level of personal attention at all times. Building on the many strengths of both Colleges in a unified manner, will unleash an even greater level of buoyancy in our extra curricular activities, which have led to many national successes in the recent past, including third place in the National Young Scientist 2004, third place in the National Entrepreneur Competition 1998 and so on.
